far from regretting this. I hear good reports of the
personality of all the Commissioners, and I hope that the
report they will eventually make will be helpful in dealing
with the very difficult problem that confronts you and me
in Hong Kong. The wide experience they will have had in
China and elsewhere should result in some useful suggestions.
